Why did the Times remove the comments beneath the article about the shooting and killing of Paul Hammond in the ER by Deputy Sheriffs following the hearing held on Wednesday?
There were at least 4 comments before I posted mine. Then at least one more by DB Cooper following mine.
What happened to them?
Please repost them.
Thank you.

Because of DB Cooper and his idiotic posts. All of his posts have been removed from every thread it would appear.

I've had post removed and I didn't use any foul language. I did give my opinion on some things but it wasn't against forum rules? I've seen other posts removed also? What happened to freedom of speech, it seems they are infringeing on our rights.

I'm new and could be off on my comment - but there is something different about some of the posts I saw the other night. I am talking about posts vs comments.
They had a specific strategy to them - lol. But I get the point and the issues LM has - he makes it clear. Maybe a different approach would be better - I have no clue. It gets a bit wild and crazy for a while and dies down - lol
I have seen threads disappear that do not appear to be problematic at all - gues you can send and email to the Webmaster?
Have had two bizarre emails - not offensive just ....uhhhh. One a case of mistaken identity I think. The other might have been from a child - something about the Virginia murders.

I think the problem may be that when someone like Livermore Mike is given the "Death Penalty" (and in his case well deserved, under three different names) all of his posts are deleted when his account is cancelled. I believe what also happens is that all posts that are "replies" (or replies to replies) to his are also deleted as well as all posts to any of the treads he started.
As one that has been the target of him (and others like him) I feel it is worth the loss of some posts to regain the civility and increased intelligence of the forums.

The Death Penalty was inacted and we didn't even have to go through months and years of appeals.
Good to see back on here Stoney.
