I heard there is an art show being displayed soon at the Lynn House Gallery downtown that will include such acclaimed local artists as our own Stoney. I won't spoil it by posting the work of art that he will have displayed, but if you haven't seen some of his stuff, and works from the other great artists sure to be on display, be sure to get down there and check it out!
Stoney, when is it going to be? I've never been to the Lynn House Gallery, so I'm looking forward to going down there and checking out the art.
As a treat, here's a small sample of one of Stoney's other Grand Masterful Pieces! LOL

Thanks Nancy. I hid a couple of co-workers of mine in the drawing of the crowd scene. They haven't been in yet to see it, so I'm working on getting them in there.
There's going to be a reception on the 14th at the gallery. I'll be the one with the bag over my head.

Stoney, don't be so humble. You can really draw with the best of them. People tell me all the time how great your drawings are. You're never to old to start doing it professionally. I know your eyesight isn't what it used to be, but like all artists, you can see it in your head and don't need your eyes. Look at Vincent Van Gogh. They say he was deaf in one ear.

JHD, I know I get over-exuberant sometimes, but Stoney is so subdued, he probably wasn't going to say anything. It's like Tigger, he wouldn't be so upbeat and perky if he didn't have to hang out around a downer and kill-joy like Eeyore all the time. It balances out!

to see Stoney's artwork at the art center. For those who don't know the art gallery is on 2nd St. across from the Amtrak station. If you miss the show you can always go to Bases Loaded and see some of his works of art.
