Im trying to find a newspaper job for bay area news group but it seems like they want you to jump through a thoulsand hoops to get a job. I have worked for them before with a friend that had a route. Does anyone here know the number for the east county times distrubtion center? I have searched for days online trying to find it with no avail.

Tonight, another party, another shooting, and the good times just keep on rolling in Antioch.

It is sad to see that the Pittsburg High School Band, which will be traveling to participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, could not find the time to participate in the Antioch Veterans Day Parade where they could have given their local supporters who have donated money for their trip to New York the opportunity to see them in what would have been a great 'dress rehersal' for them.

Things should be jumpin' Saturday night at the El Campanil where Stompy Jones is bringing his act. These guys do great swing/early rock & roll and my wife and I are looking forward to a great show. You can check them out on their website or youtube clips.

I know I know..another topic about Bases Loaded...ha ha..well..I just had to put this out there because it deserves to be written about.

I heard there is an art show being displayed soon at the Lynn House Gallery downtown that will include such acclaimed local artists as our own Stoney. I won't spoil it by posting the work of art that he will have displayed, but if you haven't seen some of his stuff, and works from the other great artists sure to be on display, be sure to get down there and check it out!
Stoney, when is it going to be? I've never been to the Lynn House Gallery, so I'm looking forward to going down there and checking out the art.
Does any one remember leaving your front doors open at nite or teens walking across town at nite safely. When our biggest problem was how dark could we get our tans. I wish time could go back so we could our kids how fun and innocent life use to be.

I'm so glad I made it to the final Hapgood Theatre production of "The Odd Couple" Sunday on the Nick Rodriguez Community Center stage. It was really terrific! Josy and Jason Miller really put on a top notch show with a great stage set, lighting, and sound effects. The actors are so good, a group of them came in to Bases Loaded and I made it a point to tell the server to make sure to bus the table and keep it clean so Felix Unger wouldn't have an anxiety attack and start making moose call noises during the World Series while trying to clear his sinuses.
This is just an inquiry into whether or not anyone has heard of the H1N1 swine flu getting to the schools in Antioch. Specifically a couple of cases at Black Diamond? I just heard a couple of students had mild cases over the weekend, but have not heard an official report. I want to say this came by way "telephone" so I'm not sure what is fact. Any feedback?
