Does anyone know what time the parade ends tonight? We want to catch some of it but not arrive at 7pm. Thanks!

I know on that other Matchmaker thread there was speculation Bases Loaded Restaurant and Bar may open their doors on the 4th and I would have posted this info there, but since that thread appeared to be headed more toward the effectiveness of hair-loss products and chicken fighting, I decided it might be best to post it here on a fresh new thread.

Along with the property tax income being down 21%, I wonder what else the City plans to do? They had only budgeted for a 4 million dollar loss in revenue, and I think it will be hard not to at least ask the police department for a concession either in salary or benefits. I'd rather see that, than layoffs.
I believe we are in historic times.

Please tell me my tax money was not spent to purchase and install the netting fence along the RR tracks. It presumably was put up to keep people off the tracks on the 4th of July. Do they actually think that will hold people back. Even a 10 yar old could jump over that. And if the police do happen to be able to stop them after the fact, how many will face charges? Point made!
This town has a serious crime problem. Too many people around here just don't know how to act as human beings. I feel like im driving around in an episode of cops. Please APD, hire people that shoot first and ask questions later. I know we may lose some innocents in the process, but im afraid to go outside anymore. It seems like its only a matter of time before violence breaks out on a large scale. Good luck fellow residents.

despite what beck says, this is a good book. his end schtick about nonviolence is really ridiculous though
According to an article in the paper this week, AUSD will be providing free breakfasts and lunches for kids under age 18 (Monday thru Friday) at AHS, Park Middle School, Marsh Elementary and Carmen Dragon.
It is not the school's responability to do this. Where is the money coming from?
